Children’s Jewelry
Children’s jewelry has become increasingly popular for a child or babies of all ages. The bracelet when given can nowadays be given to a girl or a boy and it could even have their favorite cartoon character on either a bracelet or necklace.
Years ago it was only certain cultures that either had the child’s ears, or nose pierced and at christenings babies were given a little broach with their name on it and as the child got older sometimes they would be given a small plain bracelet to wear.
The changing of the times where children wear jewelry has really helped kids that need special identification jewelry to alert medical authorities should they not be able to communicate. The identification bracelet has now gone up market and it comes not only with the vital life saving information engraved on it but they are eye catching pieces of jewelry, sometimes made in either gold or silver. The wearer of the jewelry doesn’t need to feel any different from other kids wearing jewelry now.
Believe me this was a problem for me when my son had to wear an identification bracelet at a time when they weren’t trendy, I would need beg and bribe him to wear it when he accidently left he’s bracelet at home. I now don’t need to worry any longer as the bracelet has all of a sudden become “cool” to wear.
